The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery La Poderina has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Light ruby colour. Clear nose of juicy raspberries and cherries, fresh violets and cocoa butter. On the palate a rich fruit texture and good freshness, reminiscent of vanilla, subtle wood overhang, unfortunately a little loosely knit and slowing in the finish.
