The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery La Poderina has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Vigorous ruby red with slightly lightening rim. Rich plums on the nose, carried by some cigar box and tobacco notes. Balanced and juicy on the palate, surprisingly textured, grippy, spreads across the mouth, punchy finish.
