The red wine »Impossible Reserve«, vintage 2022 from the winery Laborie Wines has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo from the region Western Cape in South Africa.
Smoky wood and roasted fruit aromas: elderberry pulp, blackberry confit, also some cigar box. On the palate, firm, slightly ragged tannins are flanked by texture and sweetness, the final fruit is intense and lingers for a long time, especially on a sweet note.
