There are aromas of dark berry on the nose, with elderberry, blackberry, some cassis, and spicy hints of cinnamon and pepper. It is soft and round on the palate but not sweet, with a ripe acidity, beautiful fruit, and gripping very fine tannins. It finishes juicy, with notes of plum, and good length.
