Tasting from 06.12.2024: Dominik Vombach & Larissa Graf

Needs air, notes of bright, wild cherries, a peppery savouriness, toasted nuances and subtle hints of dried fruit. Medium-bodied on the palate, with ripe, elegant acidity, the savoury notes again, somewhat rustic tannin, but nicely integrated and a lingering, medium finish. An honest, animating Pinot Noir.

More about the tasting

This needs aerating. On the nose there are aromas of bright wild berry, cherry, a peppery spiciness, as well as toasty nuances, and subtle dried fruit. It is medium-bodied on the palate, with a ripe elegant acidity, again spicy notes, and it has intense somewhat rustic tannins that are well wrapped up by the fruit. It lingers for a medium length of time, and it is an honest and gluggable Pinot Noir.
