The sweet and dessert wine Petit Arvine Grain Noble, vintage 2017 from the winery Marie-Thérèse Chappaz has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petite Arvine from the region Valais in Switzerland.
The 2017 impressively demonstrates why this wine is considered the best sweet wine in Switzerland. Citrus peel, ripe light stone fruit, apricot and light flowers on the nose. It's extremely intense and supple on the palate with a balancing acidity and mineral nuances. Already delicious now, but will improve enormously over the years. Sauternes from the Alps.
