Tasting from 22.11.2018: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Brilliant, rich ruby with purple glints. Very appealing, almost plump nose, full of ripe blackberries, some blueberries, plus nuances of dark chocolate, fine cedar. Plucky and sturdy on the palate, lots of rich, densely meshed tannin, unfolds in fine layers, lots of ripe berryish fruit, plus fine SAVOURY components, salty and provided with great tension, a dream wine!.

More about the tasting

Dark ruby, deep colour, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Characterised by fine oak savouriness, fresh heart cherry, a very seductive bouquet, hints of cardamom and nougat, delicate balsamic nuances. Juicy, taut and elegant, chocolaty notes, perfect tannins, delicate caramel touch, highly elegant, fine acid structure, salty and mineral, already very seductive, nougat-caramel finish, great length, great promise for the future.
