The red wine Conte Gastone Amarone Classico della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Massimago has been rated in 2018 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese from the region Veneto in Italy.
On the nose, concise, ripe and clear aromas of sweet fruit, raisin, dried red and dark berries, liquorice and a hint of chocolate. Beautifully structured on the palate, powerful but with well-integrated alcohol, finely polished tannins and a very fruity, long finish with plenty of berry notes. A modern style.
