Tasting Notes
Elegant, shiny garnet red with a fine rim. Slightly ethereal on the nose, like varnish, with preserved plum and some blood orange behind it. Exhibits fine-grained tannins on the palate, opulent fruit, then becomes somewhat warm, long finish.
More about the tastingRich, bright ruby. Clear and inviting nose with lovely ripe fruit notes, lots of juicy cherry and fresh plum, some blood orange and saffron. Fine, grippy tannin on the palate that shapes the entire course, grippy, surprisingly fresh for an Amarone, pleasant.
