The red wine Avvoltore IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Morisfarms has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant impenetrable ruby purple colour. Very intense, expressive nose of clove and cardamom, with plenty of blackberry and elderberry behind it. Lots of juicy vivid fruit on the palate, opens with pithy dense tannins, fine sweet texture, long and juicy finish.
