The red wine Avvoltore IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Morisfarms has been rated in 2015 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dense and deep ruby. Very intense and inviting nose, opens with notes of blackberries and mulberries, fresh notes of orange peel in the background, playful. Lots of powerful tannins on the palate, dense and interwoven at the front, then somewhat coarse and slightly drying at the back, still needs ageing.
