The white wine Südtirol Pinot Grigio Punggl DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Nals Margreid has been rated in 2013 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
A sparkling, rich straw-yellow color with green hues. A delicately nuanced nose, with a hint of fennel, followed by plenty of acacia blossoms and a touch of pear. Salty and fresh on the palate, very clean, building nicely with notes of fresh yellow fruits; the finish is long and lingering, with a lovely balance.
