The white wine Class A Pinot Blanc ** trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Neverland Vineyards has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose there is some oak character, along with ripe yellow fruit, and probably some over-ripeness in the grapes. It is smooth and creamy on the palate, with a firm acid core, a hint of sweetness, substantial reserves, and tactile mineral notes. It is a powerful and very ambitious Pinot Blanc.
More about the tastingAn autumnal scent of primary aromas such as pear and ripe apple can be found on the nose. The palate is complemented by ripe peach, apricot and fresh herbs with fine minerality and lively acidity, good structure and length.
