The white wine Contrada Santo Spirito Etna Bianco DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Palmento Costanzo has been rated in 2026 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Carricante, Catarratto from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intense straw yellow with light golden reflections. The nose initially smells of candied citrus fruit, then also of ripe stone fruit, with a little time in the glass of caramel candy. Slightly phenolic on the palate, with delicately perceptible tannins and a slightly salty undertone, lots of pressure on the finish, unfortunately leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste.
