The red wine Carobric Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Paolo Scavino has been rated in 2013 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with garnet rim. Very dense and appealing nose, full of plums, lots of sweet raspberries, a slight hint of licorice in the background. Some cooked notes on the palate, very concentrated, but a little overcast in the aromas, blackberries and roses, pronounced earthy notes on the finish, appears somewhat rough.
