The red wine Rotondo Aglianico del Vulture DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Paternoster has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Basilicata in Italy.
Dark ruby red. On the nose a slight hint of oak, then dark chocolate, plum, ripe wild berry and Amarena cherry with a touch of malt towards the end. Full on the palate with medium body, spreads harmoniously and coherently, the oak is well-integrated, hearty but slightly loosely-knit tannin on the finish.
