The red wine Santa Cecilia Sicilia Noto DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Medium, bright ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Aromas of rose hip, cranberry and blood orange on the nose, paired with liquorice and cocoa. Fresh on the palate, with pithy, well-integrated tannins and a slightly salty finish.
