The white wine Chardonnay Menfi Sicilia DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Sicily in Italy.
Strong, deep golden yellow with pale green reflections. Intense, broad and complex bouquet with notes of white flowers, tropical fruits, citrus peel, butter, honey and ginger. On the palate it is soft, round, full, creamy but fresh, with a good spiciness on the long citrus finish.
