The red wine Dedicato a Walter Cabernet Franc IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with purple glints. Opens on the nose with pronounced savoury notes of cardamom, bay leaves, as well as tangy fruit, especially blueberry and cassis. On the palate, dense and rich, multilayered, followed by densely compact tannins with a supple core. Dark berry fruit is superseded by delicate chocolate tones on the finish.
