The red wine Sondraia, vintage 2013 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, brilliant ruby-purple. Present and appealing nose, rich of cassis, blackberries and dark chocolate, cardamom in the background. Warm, round and smooth throughout on the palate, opens with lots of vivid fruit, juicy, finely-meshed tannins with a soft core, very long finish.
