The red wine Vignavecchia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery San Polo has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, dark garnet red. Opens on the nose with notes of malt coffee, dried plum and ripe wild raspberry. Hearty and grippy tannins on the palate, full-bodied, beautifully ripe fruit, shows good drive on the finish.
