The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Podernovi DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery San Polo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, flint ruby with garnet rim. Very dense and inviting nose, notes of ripe plums, liquorice and dried porcini mushrooms. Fills the palate richly, shows not only fullness, but also a lot of juice and elegance, a very polished, elegant Brunello, long finish.
