The red wine Vignavecchia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery San Polo has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red, with a little garnet on the rim. Delightful nose, blood oranges, rich raspberries and wild strawberries, blackberry jelly, wonderfully fragrant, floral, with bright spices, complex. Fantastically polished on the palate, with a creamy texture, very juicy, tightly interwoven tannins around a core of mature fruit, enormous length.
