Bright, intense ruby. Opens with smoky, spicy aromas of coriander seed, oregano and white pepper, followed by lots of blackberry. Round and rich in the attack, builds powerfully, lots of fleshy fruit, fine-meshed tannins, very lush and full-bodied, but the considerable alcohol comes to bear too strongly at the back, somewhat rough finish.
