The red wine Luisa Lindemann Limited Edition, vintage 2017 from the winery Quinta da Plansel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Alicante Bouschet from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
An enchanting woody patina with layers of malt, chocolate truffle and heart cherry. Fragrant thyme and sage and fresh blueberries also emerge on the nose. The palate has great volume thanks to firm tannins and oily depth, but with a lively acidity that harmonise and creates an impression of intensity. The almost Amarone-like fullness and power never tilts into plumpness on the palate, with fruit and spice to the fore.
