An opulent and complex nose: dark chocolate, herbal bitters, blackberry and elderberry, black cherry, menthol and nutty nougat. The palate has some heft and is filled with large amounts of fine tannin which holds everything together well. The density of the fruit and the fullness are impressive, the alcohol being completely balanced by fruit.
