The red wine Dorina Lindemann Tinta Barocca (Sel. 9), vintage 2017 from the winery Quinta da Plansel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
Quite a complex aroma: balsamic, savoury, macchia-like, but also hazelnut and some plum. In the mouth, the wine has a nice density, the tannins are mellow and ripe, the alcohol is well integrated, the acidity remains fine and subtle, but still gives the powerful structure sufficient support. The finish begins juicily and then opens up to savoury aromas.
