The red wine »Selecta« Tinto Reserva, vintage 2020 from the winery Quinta da Plansel has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tinta Barocca, Tempranillo from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
Black cherry and beeswax, herbal bitters. On the palate the wine has a fine texture, the strong alcohol is well countered by tannins, suppleness and juiciness leading into a long finish after the tension in the middle palate. A well-balanced, fruit-driven red with good tannins.
