Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections and very delicate brightening at the rim. Delicately balsamic nose with a touch of nougat, dried figs, tobacco notes and candied orange zest. The palate is powerful, vivid and very substantial with well-integrated tannins, subtle hints of cocoa, a touch of minerality and very well structured. There is a chocolate touch on the finish which lingers for an extremely long period. There is certainly great ageing potential here, this is a wine at the beginning of a great and long career.
