Tasting Notes
Caramel, toffee, mulberry, candied fruit, also something "cool", forest blueberry, wet slate. On the palate the wine is immensely dense with fine but not too soft tannins, it develops a long-lasting plateau of intensity accompanied by tobacco aromas. In addition it has a stable acidity and pervasive minerality. The elegance in the drive is stupendous, as is the length.
More about the tastingOpaque, deep dark ruby garnet, purple reflections. Attractive dark berry fruit, fine nuances of spices, mineral hints, cassis and cherries in the background, still underdeveloped. Deep, fresh berry fruit, freshly structured, vivid, very well integrated tannins, long-lasting fruit sweetness, fine honey note on the finish, appears highly elegant, has great length and enormous ageing potential.
