Tasting Notes
Deep but not quite opaque ruby shines in the glass. The nose at first holds a melange of red and black fruit, deeper sniffs reveal a lifted sense of exquisite blackberry and echoes of fragrant wild raspberry. The palate is rich and smooth but has a feeling of translucency, of pervasive freshness. The tannins have the finest grip, very slightly coating the mouth. More air seems to reveal an overtone of liquorice and blackberry coulis. A lovely but not quite extended finish.
