The red wine Chianti del Barone DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Ricasoli has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, broad edge brightening. Delicate wood spice underlaid with dark berry fruit, tobacco nuances, a hint of blackberries, orange zest. Juicy, fresh structure, integrated tannins. Fruity sweetness of red berry confit, somewhat mineral, lingers well, herbal spice in the aftertaste, good food companion.
