The white wine Alte Reben Radebeul Goldener Wagen trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Schloss Wackerbarth has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Grauburgunder from the region Saxony in Germany.
Closed on the nose, flint, some pineapple. Very dense on the palate, strong phenolic content, ripe and well-sustained acidity, completely self contained with tightly interwoven layers. A great terroir wine in the embryonic stage, with an intense tactile-mineral finish.
More about the tastingField blends are underestimated: their virtue consists in uniting the best aspects of the various grape varieties. Fragrance, texture, density, freshness and aromatics are united here and interwoven like an elaborate tapestry. Already complex now, it will become even more complex.
