Rich, dense garnet in colour. Intense and concentrated on the nose, with lots of ripe fruit, especially blackberry and plum, with hints of cardamom and cinnamon in the background. Compact initially and when developing on the palate, with dark berry fruit, richly tannic, multi-layered and full-bodied with a hearty driven finish. Will benefit from further ageing.
