The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Helichrysum DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery San Polino has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby. Very appealing and dense nose, of ripe dark blackberry, some elderberry and dark plum, complex. Rich and complex on the palate, showing fleshy plum fruit, pickled cherry, opens with dense, sturdy tannin, entwined with sweet texture and a firm drive on the finish.
