The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery San Polino has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby red with a slight garnet rim. Intense nose, lots of dark cherry and plum, with some pepper behind it. Present, dense tannin on the palate, good consistency, quite rough at the back, still needs time.
