The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Helichrysum DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery San Polino has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, dense ruby with some garnet at the rim. Opens with savoury notes, of curry herb and galangal, behind are ripe plum and cherry. Hearty and gripping on the palate, showing dense tannin, firm, salty with a long finish.
