Intense ruby red colour with a purple hue. Deep nose, raspberries and cherries, pepper and a hint of vanilla. On the palate a lot of juice, lively, fresh acidity, vivid tannins, savoury finish.
More about the tastingRich, deep dark ruby. Opens on the nose with notes of molasses, then pickled plum, also some ripe Kaiser Alexander pear. Supple and juicy on the palate, grippy, finely meshed tannins, savoury, lots of dark cherry on the finish.
