The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Santa Sofia has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Shows notes of ripe, dark blackberries and some pickled walnuts, balsamic. Good concentration on the palate, much ripe cherry fruit, fine-meshed, precise tannin, juicy.
