The white wine »Goldlack« Schloss Johannisberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Restaurant Schlossschänke has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Terpenes on the nose, a hint of raisins, leather, very floral, almost a hint of Traminer, wax, subtle wood, caramel, berry notes. Very dense in the mouth, phenolics from the very first moment, has depth and concentration, all enormously young, gripping minerality, viscous extract in the background, but the substance dominates.
