The sweet and dessert wine »Purpurlack« Riesling Beerenauslese, vintage 2021 from the winery Restaurant Schlossschänke has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Fine botrytis savouriness, dried fig and apricot on the nose. Creamy, oily on the palate, the wine has a complex texture and volume, a striking but very well-integrated acidity and a concentrated salinity, very homogeneous with excellent length, a fine spiciness and very good freshness on the finish.
