The white wine »Ex bibliotheca subterranea« Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Restaurant Schlossschänke has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Apple peel, rosemary blossom and caraway on the nose, plus a hint of caramel and pepper. Straightforward on the palate, almost light-footed and then again dense, juicy, fine-grained phenolics, a subtle acidity that increases with the texture, very still, Burgundy-like. Has great certain ageing potential.
