The sekt NV Sekt brut from the winery Schmidt am Bodensee has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Spätburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Lots of yeast on the nose, apple, but also spring onion, needs some air. Good structure on the palate: light but not weak, cultivated mousse, freshness-giving acidity, a hint of fruitiness and suppleness round off the finish.
