Deep dark ruby red, with an opaque core, purple hues, subtle brightening on the rim. Aromas of cedar wood and violets, hints of raspberries, increasingly floral with aeration, a hint of cloves. Very powerful, tightly meshed, ripe black cherries, some nougat, a subtle acidity, mineral on the finish, pronounced fruit in the aftertaste, a firm finish, definitely still needs time, very promising.
