Light green yellow in colour. Gooseberry confit with fine citrus notes, mineral touch, underlaid with elderflower and nuances of honeydew melon. Full-bodied, powerful, almost creamy in texture, fine biscuit touch, rich yellow tropical fruit, nuances of blood oranges, tightly woven body, dark minerality, supported by a racy acid structure, fine fruity finish, subtle spicy notes from the French barrique, and very convincing length. It has secure ageing potential, and it is a great food wine.
