Tasting Notes
Bright ruby with garnet shimmer. A somewhat restrained nose at the start, with hints of fennel seeds, plums and ripe cherries in the background. Still quite rough and closed on the palate, powerful, gripping tannins, with beautiful, clear fruit at the back, but still a little wood overhang in the finish, additional ageing is certainly no harm.
