The red wine Cottà Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Sottimano has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red with a deep centre. Clearly reminiscent of red berries, raspberry, strawberry, with a slight aftertaste of varnish and alcohol. Fruity and juicy on the palate with well-integrated fresh acidity, compact fruit, although drying and slightly harsh on the finish.
