The white wine Riesling Stein »Hagemann«, Würzburg, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Bürgerspital has been rated in 2012 with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Franconia in Germany.
Clear, strong yellow. Very clear and ripe fruit aromas, subtly spicy, already inviting, but more on the fruity and concentrated side, but also with subtle minerality. A racy attack on the palate, enormously juicy and dense fruit, grippy structure, still underdeveloped and primarily fruity, but with the potential for a great, complex, full-bodied and juicy Franconian Riesling. It will never become a dancer, but perhaps a high mass?
