The rosé wine Spätburgunder Rosé trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Stiftungsweingut Freiburg has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Deep salmon pink colour. Notes of quince and red berries emerge from the glass. Slightly caramelised aromas. On the palate, you could mistake this rosé for a (not so) light red wine, it has so much substance. The background is supple and full-bodied, the acidity is firm, a hint of sweetness enhances the final fruit.
