The sekt »Pinot« brut, vintage 2017 from the winery Stiftungsweingut Freiburg has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A fine blanc de noir aroma, Pinot and champagne-like yeast notes. The palate is refreshed by a dynamic mousse, the acidity is buffered by a comparatively strong dosage, before a light phenolic note carries into the finish, which is again Pinot-spicy.
